Almost three months after completing my first AWS certification, I cleared my second certification in the associate level. Now I am a AWS certified developer.
The certification was much simpler than compared to Solutions architect – Associate. There were very less scenario based question in the exam and most of the questions were direct question.
I am planning to write one more article to help people start with AWS cloud technologies. In the article I will discuss about the resources which people can use to get along with AWS cloud technologies.
How to prepare for AWS Certification

It might be a dumb question. Being a .net developer I thought, it is better to go with Azure than AWS but it seems you have chosen AWS. Any reason?

Its very good question. I worked on Azure as well, but I got more exposure to AWS rather than Azure on my job. I liked AWS more due to its documentation and its service offerings. I think it doesn’t matter whichever cloud technology you can choose as the basic concepts would be same. The only difference would be name of the services.

Thanks for clarification. I thought for a .net developer, Azure would easy and relevant. I also heard Azure would take over most of the market from AWS with their aggressive pricing.

You are correct, Azure can be a better option, as you mentioned Azure is also catching up very fast. There should be some cloud exposure for all the developers. Are you doing anything related to Azure?
