The year that was 2018

Hello Friends, Happy new year to all of you. Thank you for coming and reading my posts for whole of the 2018.

I will summarize some of my personal and professional achievements for 2018.

First from the personal side, I am blessed with my second baby girl in November 2018. She is a bundle of joy and my elder daughter is the one who is enjoying most the company of new member in the family.

Though I am not a big fan of new year resolutions and goals.

As goals are for losers, Instead I try to create new habits and follow processes which will help me long run.

I never set a goal to start a blog, it just came from within me and I am just following a process to write more and more article.

I have written 40+ articles in 2018 on my blog. The articles I wrote were mostly related to AWS, C# and Node JS programming.

I did 3 AWS certifications in 2018. I never set a goal to do them. I just started preparing and my process of studying and learning helped to complete all of them.

I started going to Gym last year. I never set a goal to hit the gym. But my process and habit of keeping my self healthy helped me to achieve it. Though gym is stopped for the time being but I am not able to leave my habit of working out.

I workout at home, though it is not equivalent of hitting the gym. But I am just following my habit and process of keeping my self fit.

I will continue writing more and more article and learning new things in 2019 as well and keep everyone of you posted.

Though we can use the turn of calendar too set some bench marks.

As I have set up a benchmark to complete 1 million total views for my blog by the end of 2019. And also come up with at least one PDF e-book.

Though both of these benchmarks are over ambitious, specially with grown up family. But I will try.

One again a very happy, prosperous and a new year filled with new learning. And do share your personal and professional achievements for the year gone by.
